You could say collecting is in my blood. As a kid, I shadowed my grandma “Temah” on many weekends, on the hunt for antique and one of a kind pieces to offer to the East Texas area. She taught me to never go anywhere without cash and a flashlight. My old soul thrives on anything with a story- from antique cars to vintage art. I met my husband Doug at our alma mater, LeTourneau University, and when planning our wedding in 2006, I found myself drawn to using family heirlooms and antique pieces in the design. This snowballed into a business! Soon, friends and friends-of-friends entrusted me to style their events with unique finds. I also began selling collected pieces at Canton First Monday and in a storefront. I was a teacher at that time, but soon hung up my teaching hat to offer vintage and unique items full time.
Now as a mom of two amazing girls, Arden Rose and Sybbie Faye, I am thankful to be in a season of putting family first, while still selling and designing part time.
